House Activities 2015
On Friday 25th May the houses all took part in various activities.
Urquhart pupils tried some exotic fruits:
Some pupils felt nervous about trying new fruits and thought they wouldn't like them but did try them all and gave them marks out of 10 and wrote a few words describing them. Afterwards, they did some reseach to find out where these exotic fruits came from. Some pupils tried some new fruits in the form of fruit smoothies and fruit kebabs. They also played games including Healthy Food Bingo and naming different fruits.
Culzean pupils were learning about foods from around the world:
They played games outside where pupils had to guess where foods were from and what season they were produced in. They then tasted foods from countries around the world.
Drummond pupils were busy in the playground:
They repainted the games, including Hop Scotch, on the ground and decorated the flower boxes at the front of the school.
Glamis pupils were out in the forest again. They learned how to make fires, made woodland art, learned how to build shelters and played a Fair Trade game which made them think about the lives of producers and farmers.
