Netball - 2018/19

18/6/19 - our new squad

Some P5s joined us for a trial netball session today - some very good netball played and looking forward to you all signing up for the new season when it starts in September

11/6/19 - Goodbye and well done!

We said goodbye to our P7 netballers, plus they said goodbye to Miss MacKinnon who leaves us at the end of term.  We hope the P7s continue to play netball and I look forward to following their success stories through secondary school and Bridge of Earn Netball Club.

Miss MacKinnon has supported netball the last 2 years and will be missed by all.  We hope you get the opportunity to keep coaching at your new school.

We also had our end of season presentation with Karis and Nala receiving the Players Player Award and Millie and Morgan-Ann receiving the Coaches Player Award.  Well done girls, well deserved!

22/5/19 - PKC Netball Festival - a MASSIVE well done to the P6 and P7 netball teams.  A great afternoon was had by all.  They all played very well and I couldn't be more proud of them all - they won all their matches!

P7s - keep playing, we will miss you!

P6s - keep practising hard and playing with such enthusiasm!

As always parent help with transport is essential for all our league matches.

We also have the opportunity to use a spare court at Bell's therefore we have booked Wed 19/1 and Wed 20/3 to allow those not playing in the league to go to Bell's and play on a full size court.  Details will be issued nearer the dates.

12/11/18 - friendly vs Abernethy - Tuesday 20th Nov - GCC - 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

League starts January 2019 - details and dates of matches to follow soon.

We played our first friendly match against Abernethy - this was a great opportunity to see the new P6s play in an actual match and start to identify what positions work well for their strengths and skills - more friendlies will be arranged for next term.  P7s will also play Abernethy later in the term.

A MASSIVE thank you to the Parent Council who kindly funded the repainting of our netball court.  This is such a benefit to the club and means we can play outside most of the year (weather permitting).  Thank you so much.

Netball starts back on Tuesday 21st August 2018.   We have a healthy intake from P6 & P7 and we'll enjoy getting outside as much as we can to train.  Details for the 2018 league will follow in Dec 2018.
