Netball - 2016/17

The P&K Netball Festival at Glenearn Campus took part on Wednesday 24th May.  The sun was shining and a great afternoon was had by all.  We entered our P5/6 and P7 teams and they both played very well indeed.

P5/6 team played 3 games, they didn't win any and were up against some very tall, experienced players but they certainly showed what they are made of with their enthusiasm and fighting spirit, trying their hardest in every match.

P7 played 5 games, won 3 and lost 2.  This was a great end to their season and their primary netball career!  We are handing over excellent players to the secondary schools - keep up the good work P7s!

(Sorry P7s we didn't manage to get a pic of you)

League Finals

Our league team got through to the finals on Wednesday 29th March 2017.  They played 3 matches and came third overall which was a great result.

A very huge well done to all the children playing in the league, we are so proud of your commitment and determination, you did exceptionally well to get through to the finals - keep up the good work!

Some of the P5 non-league children have enjoyed playing in friendlies in Bell's (with a little help from a couple of P7s), allowing them to experience playing a match on a full size court. We'll hopefully get some more friendlies arranged next term.
